We’ve used our adapter while on road trips so we can charge at hotels that only have Tesla Destination Chargers. It may not be an essential item, but it is extremely nice to have. This adapter cannot be used with Tesla Superchargers. There is not any adapter that will enable access to Tesla Superchargers at this time. Tesla has announced there will be a Supercharger adapter for GM & Ford EVs in 2024.
